Saint Louis University: Pere Marquette Gallery

The St. Louis Wedding Planner’s second venue tour on Saint Louis University’s campus was the Pere Marquette Gallery, located at 221 North Grand Boulevard in DuBourg Hall. Previously a university library, the Pere Marquette Gallery is an stunning space, with a ceiling you so unique you won’t soon forget it! Perfect for wedding ceremonies or rehearsal dinners, one thing to note about this space is that dancing is prohibited as well as amplified music!. Again, special thanks to Jason for showing me around campus, and for the awesome ride in the golf cart! We still have more SLU venues to come!

Are there any other additional fees bride and grooms should be aware of?

There is parking available at either the Laclede or Olive/Compton parking garages. Weekend and evening events are subject to a flat rate of $150. Security is also required for events in this venue through the Department of Public Safety, including setup and take down time for the event. Current Rates are $22/hour/officer.

Any vendors you prefer to work with?

For this particular space, brides and grooms are required to use the University Catering Service. Linen arrangements must also be made through the University catering service.

What is included when a bride and groom books with the Pere Marquette Gallery?

Space rental traditionally includes:

The Pere Marquette Gallery, as with many of the Saint Louis University event spaces is unique because of its memorable and distinct architecture, this particular space suiting a more classic taste. Just look at that ceiling!
