The St. Louis Wedding Planner’s latest walk-through and interview took place at the City Museum, located at 701 North 15th Street in downtown St. Louis. If you’re looking for a unique, fun and memorable location for your wedding reception, this is the place to be! As a well known St. Louis attraction, the City Museum has been entertaining St. Louisans since 1997! Kelly Richter, the Facility Rental Coordinator, was kind enough to sit down and answer a few questions for me this week AND let me wander around the museum! Thanks Kelly for everything!

Are there any other additional fees bride and grooms should be aware of?

For events taking place Sunday through Thursday after 5:00pm, there is a $25 per staff member, per hour fee.

Wedding receptions at the City Museum include:

  • General Admission to the City Museum
  • Five Hour Event (Six w/ Wedding Ceremony)
  • Use of City Museum Parking Lot
  • Overflow Lot Parking at 15th & Delmar

The City Museum is more than just a venue! It’s a well-known and popular St. Louis attraction! It’s not only a fun place for out of town guests to explore but it also provides guests with plenty of entertainment while the bride and groom are off taking pictures!

What is your most memorable event held at the City Museum?

The City Museum‘s most memorable event was a wedding that took place last Halloween where the bride and groom put together a huge spectacle. The bride and groom flew guests in from Chicago and everyone had really elaborate costumes. They were even constructing a phone booth from Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure!
