The St. Louis Wedding Planner’s latest venue tour took place at the Holiday Inn Select Downtown, located at 811 North 9th Street, in downtown St. Louis. The Holiday Inn Select Downtown is an extremely convenient event space located just across the way from the Edwards Jones Dome. Catering Sales Manager, Mary Kelly, took a few minutes out of her day to walk me around the newly renovated building to check out the ballroom, and it is spacious. Big thank you to Mary for her time and be on the lookout for final outside renovations to be completed in mid-August 2010.

What is your most memorable event held at the Holiday Inn Select Downtown?

In January of 2010, a bride and groom were getting married in the thick of the building renovations and they were floored with the transformation of the space for their wedding day. They were so happy, in fact, that they sent Mary and her team flowers and a cheesecake!
