La Perla is unique because of the intricate architecture which provides a rich sense of history that takes you back in time right in the heart of downtown St Louis.
What is your most memorable event held at La Perla?
The most memorable event at La Perla was a wedding reception where they had a roaring 1920s theme in which they decorated the space as a Speakeasy. All the guests had to dress up in the 1920s and went through the back door. They had a 8-piece band ala 1920s and a bathtub full of beer (cue the Prohibition era). Guests also needed a password to enter the facility in which they were given in the invitation. Sounds awesome!
In the basement of La Perla, there is an old walk-in vault since the building was a bank in the old days. Currently, it is being remodeled to create a private lounge area for an enhanced overall experience!La Perla Private Event Space,
