Le Chateau is unique because from the outside and into the Round Room, the venue takes on an old world, castle-like appeal. The Ballroom continues this ambiance with a romantic French theme. And although, the Ces & Judy’s team loves the romantic theme, they are always amazed with the beautiful ways that couples transform the rooms into something completely different!

What is your most memorable event held at Le Chateau?

Their most memorable event was a wedding held a little over a year ago that took the team’s breath away! The bride was stunning and she completely transformed the space into a glowing, vibrant affair, complete with gold chairs, pools of light in pinks and purple and drapery that gave the room a warm, luxurious feel. It left quite the impression on the staff and the pictures remain some of their most favorite!

Two Hearts is unique for many reasons but what people might not know is that it used to be the Mark Twain Movie Theater, which means a building rich with history! They are also a family owned business and have been in operation for over 20 years!

What is your most memorable event held at Two Hearts?

Hard to choose they say! A wedding reception for a producer from KMOX and a Professional Soccer Referee. Instead of the traditional wedding reception, they used a “Goalie” as their archway; Fooseball and Pinball machines for entertainment, and the entire staff wore referee uniforms!

St. Louis Bride Magazine hosted their annual wedding awards in the Grand Hall. The décor for each table was done by various vendors and given the opportunity to show off a centerpiece they did not hold back. It was a night enjoyed by many wedding industry professionals and a chance to celebrate and toast the hard work of everyone in the wedding industry.

What would you say makes La Perla unique?

La Perla is unique because of the intricate architecture which provides a rich sense of history that takes you back in time right in the heart of downtown St Louis.

What is your most memorable event held at La Perla?

The most memorable event at La Perla was a wedding reception where they had a roaring 1920s theme in which they decorated the space as a Speakeasy. All the guests had to dress up in the 1920s and went through the back door. They had a 8-piece band ala 1920s and a bathtub full of beer (cue the Prohibition era). Guests also needed a password to enter the facility in which they were given in the invitation. Sounds awesome!

Additional Information

In the basement of La Perla, there is an old walk-in vault since the building was a bank in the old days. Currently, it is being remodeled to create a private lounge area for an enhanced overall experience!

The most memorable event was definitely the very first event held there. It was a birthday party hosted by a very prominent Cardinal ex-baseball player. His wife came in and asked if they could hold a birthday party at Cafe Cioccolato. They had never done any events before and with this as their first, we were ecstatic. There were many celebrities and prominent figures that attended the party. At the end of the day, they were extremely satisfied with the service and the team could have have been more thrilled!

The Sheldon Concert Hall offers clients a location to host both their wedding ceremony and reception. In a historic building wish striking architecture, the Sheldon is a beautiful space for people who love art, culture or simply a unique space within the St. Louis area!

What is your most memorable event held at the Sheldon Concert Hall?

Recently, the Sheldon was the location for a very traditional Indian wedding where the bride and groom held a processional down Washington Avenue, arriving on horseback to the space. The bride and groom were able to host a celebration that combined traditional with a modern feel. In short, the Sheldon staff loves a unique wedding…they get pretty excited!

Additional Information

In addition to everything mentioned above, the Sheldon Concert Hall boasts an open caterer policy, meaning you don’t have to select from the preferred caterers to hold your wedding there (a very unique feature in St. Louis). The team there feels they can accommodate weddings of any budget and feel cost shouldn’t keep you from having the wedding of your dreams!
