The St. Louis Wedding Planner’s latest walk-through took place at the Makeup Bar, located at 7522 Big Bend Blvd in Webster Groves. Unlike other venues featured on the St. Louis Wedding Planner web site, the Makeup Bar specializes in bridal pampering, bachelorette parties and even bridal showers! With a venue dedicated solely to the bride and her bridal party, the Makeup Bar is a one-stop shop! Owner, Maria Gianino, took some time out of her day to walk me through the Makeup Bar and show me all of the great things they have to offer – hair, makeup, nails, facials and massages!

Are there any other additional fees brides should be aware of?

No additional fees!

Any vendors you prefer to work with?

No preferred vendors for food. However, the client can bring in their own food or suggestions can be provided. The Makeup Bar can also provide food and drinks at an additional cost! When hosting a Spa Party, the Makeup Bar recommends Artistic Soup for professional photography!

What would you say makes the Makeup Bar unique?

The Makeup Bar is unique because it is the only location in the St. Louis area with a PRIVATE venue dedicated to Bridal Hair and Makeup as well as Bachelorette Parties and Bridal Showers. Its proximity to Downtown St. Louis, Kirkwood, Webster and Clayton makes it great for brides having their reception in these areas.

What is your most memorable event held at the Makeup Bar?

The Makeup Bar‘s wost memorable event was on a Saturday when they had 3 weddings booked back to back starting at 6:00 in the morning! They had to time everything perfectly and keep everybody on schedule. Each party came in just as the last one left and it all worked out perfectly!
